A nasse is a fish trap — a net of such specific geometry that it is designed not to be seen until it has already done its work. The third of the COOQ black nets is the most substantial: a coarser grid than both The Résille and The Grille, with a mesh proportion that gives the black thread maximum presence against the skin. Where The Résille was classic and balanced and The Grille was fine and intimate, The Nasse is architectural — the diamond grid large enough to be read clearly, each unit of the mesh a deliberate geometric statement.
