Denim blue in its second incarnation in the COOQ Plunge Collection returns to that origin. Where The Indigo was subversion — the democratic colour arriving in an intimate space — The Toile is something older. The blue of the cloth before it was decided what it would become. The Toile is more structured than its counterpart — a deeper, denser construction in the same indigo family, but with an architectural quality that The Indigo's lighter weave did not pursue. Where The Indigo whispered its origins, The Toile wears them. The plunge here is deeper, the underwire more defined, the set for the woman who wanted not just the colour but the full weight of what it carries.
